All barefoot shoe enthusiasts with chronically cold feet can now breathe a sigh of relief: With the GROUNDIES Alaska we are launching perhaps the warmest barefoot shoe ever!

Alaska - there is hardly another place in the world that is associated to such an extent with freezing cold as the northernmost state of the USA. For this reason it was pictures of snow-covered mountains, glistening white forests and frozen lakes that inspired us to create our latest addition to our winter collection of barefoot shoes.

The Alaska is made of soft suede leather. It goes all the way over the ankle and is lined with thick, fluffy virgin wool. The eye-catching leather lacing gives the shoe a subtle ethno feel making the Alaska the perfect addition to any cosy winter outfit.

The Alaska is equipped with our TrueSense barefoot sole, so you can enjoy comfortable barefoot feeling even in the cold season. It is completely flat, thin and extremely flexible. Our material LTPU makes the sole particularly light as well as abrasion- and slip-resistant. Whatever the weather, you will take every step comfortably and safely.
